HOW TO PLAN A DAY TRIP

If you are interested in organizing a Day Trip, here are the steps to begin the process:

 

DAY TRIPS

  1. STEP ONE

    1. Complete the “Day Trip Information – Step 1 form”

      1.                      for the form

    2. Contact the vendor or site authority regarding their availability to conduct access for a large group and what dates are available for them. 

    3. Check Mon.- Thurs. dates first

    4. Check costs and discounts if available

      1. The cost of the trip is not subsidized by the club and costs will be the responsibility of each member

    5. Submit the completed form to the club’s Social Director (contact information is at the bottom of the form)

    6. Your proposal (including multiple trip dates) will be submitted to the board for screening of possible conflicting club activities and best recommended trip dates will be provided to you

  2. STEP TWO (Only after step one is completed and approved)

    1. Confirm and define all of the above

    2. Discuss details with the club’s Social Director

    3. Use Who What When Why How and Cost per member

    4. Submit in writing your final proposal details for Board review

    5. Once Board approved, an eblast notice will go out to all members
